Next rounds are the heats – race against your mates, workmates or family, scoring points to show them who is best! Points are allocated for finishing position and will determine the starting position for the final (most points at the front, least at the rear). The top 10 drivers* with the most points head into the final to win the title – it’s first past the post!

*If you have more than 10 drivers and would like everyone to have a final race we can run a B Final for an extra $5 per person. More than 15 drivers will qualify for a no cost B final.

More details about the race: Drivers are split into teams – driver 1 starts their laps while driver 2 is ready, waiting to start in their kart. When driver 1 returns to the pits after they complete their designated laps, they tag driver 2 who immediately enters the track to complete their laps. This continues until all participants have driven their designated number of laps.

The first round is the qualifier – here drivers get the chance to get better and better, with their best lap times being used to set the starting grid before the feature race round!

The second round is the feature race – the same process occurs as for the qualifier, only this time the first driver to complete the total laps for any team, wins the race for their team!
