Through the sport of Kart Racing, most of today’s professional racing drivers like Scott Dixon, Greg Murphy and Shane Van Gisbergen, all started their racing careers by developing their racing skills at an early age.
By introducing your budding champion to the same opportunity as these stars, you can help them to learn those same attributes:
Co-ordination: A sense of timing and the ability to plan ahead
Competition: Not only racing hard, playing hard and competing hard , but also fairly.
Sportsmanship: A genuine respect for other drivers trackside, (or on the road)
Responsibility: A sense of awareness and concern for the safety of others
Pride & Accomplishment: Whether they finish first, or last, knowing that they did their best.
We can limit the power and speed of our specially designed and built European race karts via remote control for younger drivers, allowing them to race at their own pace, as they learn the basics of Karting, and go on to learn all the skills needed to be a winner on the track.
At each 1 hour training session we provide full theory and practical instruction, safety briefing and safety gear, along with refreshments. At the end of the 3 week course, each student will be awarded a certificate of completion and take part in a student vs parent race.
This course is designed for Junior Drivers aged 10 to 16 year olds. Please note a minimum height of 140cm is required to allow safe operation of the kart’s controls.

Testimonials
On the winner’s podium….Jonny Reid… Scott Dixon…and maybe one day, Josh Sheehan …..they all started out go karting – and Junior Driver School at Formula E is great for those wanting to experience the thrill of racing and to garner skills of the race track, but, more than this, the course builds confidence in the young drivers.
The team at Formula E are excellent tutors, giving time to each budding driver to develop, literally, at their own pace. The tutors encourage each young driver to utilise the new techniques and skills taught each week.
It’s a fun course, where even the parents get involved…after watching my sons racing, I too have joined in and now love racing at Formula E. …move over Jonny…move over Josh…Mum’s getting the checkered flag…..
