• 5 warm up laps
• 3 x 10 lap heats of awesome racing
• 1 x 15 lap “A” final for the top 10 drivers, or “B” final if 18 or more drivers register

The racing  just keeps getting better and better, with more new faces and talents, along with a BBQ and bevvies afterwards, a great night was had by all. Last night’s overall winner was Mr Consistency, Kim Tang, all the way from Auckland’s north shore, and who  came up with some wicked  driving skills. 2nd place went to a newcomer Darryl Tilby, who raised a few eyebrows coming out of nowhere. We ran a slightly diffent format last night, with 2 semi’s and then a final, based on lap times. Troy weeks from Redline Signs put up a good battle with Kim earlier in the evening, both drivers enjoying the drive and congratulating one another. The newer drivers skill levels are improving, making for some edgy stuff out there, but all still clean and tidy. So all in all, another great social night at Formula E, and a big thank you to our sponsors,  Hell Pizza Manukau, for their contribution to the prizes for the night. There will be no Open A1 GP racing  in December, given that its during the Xmas break, so our next FORMULA E OPEN A1GP, will be Tuesday, 31st January 2012, 7:00 pm.

Drivers numbers have increased to the stage where we may well have to turn some unregistered drivers away.  So please, if you want to ensure your place on the starting grid, make sure you register well before the event.
